In spring of 2020 I will be returning to Savannah to Production Design and Dialect Coach the independent feature, Running Out of Angels. But, please do not hesitate to email with any inquiries during this time! ------- I teach all accents, with a special focus on idiolects (that is, matching the voice and speech patterns of real world people). I combine these voice/accent skills with performance techniques to help the actor connect to the text/dialogue with naturalism and dynamic range. Its one thing to be a strong actor who can do an accent proficiently - its another thing to apply those skills to the words being said, bringing the language to life in a nuanced way. I have an MA in Voice and Dialect Studies from Central School of Speech and Drama, London - along with a BA in Acting and BS in Speech & Linguistics from the University of WA, Seattle. I've taught internationally, both from my private practice and through institutions, such as: CSSD Masters Courses (London), UW PATP (Seattle), Zephyr Theater (LA), Open Fist Theater (LA), Santa Monica Playhouse, HB Studios (NY), ACTeen Studios (NY),etc. ------ Additionally, Im an actor, screenwriter (10 years working experience) and a creative director across fields. I also have a background in dance and movement techniques, which I integrate into my voice, accent, acting and creative directing.
