Often reconstructing segments for time requirements - splitting and marrying segments for commercial breaks. Creating standalone movies out of a two part episodic series or the contrary, stringing together two half hour shows to fit an hourly format seamlessly, or sometimes adding relative content from other programs to fill for time. Sunbeam Television Corporation, WSVN Channel 7 News (Fox) Miami, FL 1994-1996 • Video Tape Editor: Edit audio/video to script. • Tape Operator: Duties included constant communication with the Director, Technical Director, Producer, Executive Producer, Operations Coordinator and Editors, while fol- lowing the show format and keeping tapes updated with current kills, adds, breaking news, show opens, bumpers, packages and package opens. Often directing the directors with countdowns before footage goes to black, sound bite out cues, quick-ins/outs or freezes etc. and which decks contained the correct content after major reformatting live on air. • Chyron Operator / Graphics Stacker: Designed title animations for show opens, story- package opens, bumpers, and live news.
