My passion is in story telling and capturing stills that put people in a moment in time. I also work as a cajun delicacy chef preparing large family style Cajun meals on a small or large scale. I have an extensive knowledge of cajun/south Louisiana culture and could act as a consultant on such matters if need be. Still photography: I have 6 years experience as a documentary, lifestyle and food photographer specializing in documenting contemporary cajun/south Louisiana lifestyles and food for editorial and cook book use. PHotographer's Assistant: I've work extensively as a photographer's Assistant in many different settings familiarizing myself with natural and artificial lighting and gear set ups. Digital Tech: I have knowledge of most major still photography shooting platforms and lens technology. I am well versed in Capture 1 and Adobe Lightroom editing technologies. Locations: my knowledge of Southwest Louisiana back roads and waterways could be of value as a locations scout as I have a large knowledge base of the area and am routed in the community with many contacts in rural and urban parishes. Cook: I am very familiar with and am able to cook many different Louisiana and Southern foods. Seafood Boils, whole hog bbq, cooking in cast iron, cooking on open flame, cooking in large cast iron Kettles. Musician: I am a life long Cajun musician raise in a musical family. I've traveled extensively sharing cajun culture with audiences across the Us Canada and parts of France. I play traditional Cajun accordion, guitar and bass and sing and speak in traditional Louisiana french language. Operator: I am a licensed Boat operator and am experienced in off road vehicle use and recovery.
