As an actor, I was nominated for a Golden Globe in my feature film debut, UNCLE JOE SHANNON. I co-starred in the Academy Award winning film, ON GOLDEN POND with Henry Fonda and Katharine Hepburn, and starred in numerous Emmy nominated television movies and mini-series. I studied filmmaking and screenwriting at the University of Southern California. My directorial debut was the independent film, THE BOYS OF SUNSET RIDGE starring Burt Young, John Heard, Pat Morita and Ronny Cox. My next film, COME AWAY HOME, starring Lea Thompson, Thomas Gibson and Paul Dooley, won Best Family Film at Hollywood’s International Film Festival. I have the experience, acumen and enthusiasm that is both appreciated and needed when working with actors and crew alike. Whether it be a stage production, a television show or a feature film I have learned my craft from some of the finest professionals in the entertainment industry. As a writer, I have written numerous screenplays for other producers and production companies in Hollywood. Most recently, SILENT KNIGHTS, a true story involving a deaf college football team, was written for Marlee Matlin to star and produce. Other projects currently in development or seeking financing include MAN OF ACTION, FOREIGN EXCHANGE, DIGITAL DIVA and LET'S ROCK. I've also been hired by producers to re-write screenplays. A recent project, CHRISTMAS COMES TO TRICKLE CREEK, was for Canadian Producer Carolyn McMaster and her company, Chaos Films. I am currently developing a family film, FISHING FOR LUCK, as the director and co-writer. The project is an adaption of the YA books, "Lucky Rocks" and "Fishing for Luck" by author Murray Richter. It will be produced by Jacob Mullen.Credits & Projects·2004: Come Away Home·2000: The Boys of Sunset Ridge·2017: Silent Knights
