After High School, Cody found a higher calling and honorably served in The United States Marine Corps until 2012. Upon his discharge, he decided to follow his dreams of becoming a filmmaker. The next day him and his wife packed up their car and 48 hours later, they landed in Los Angeles. Cody quickly enrolled at The Los Angeles Film School to purse his passion for filmmaking. During his time at The Los Angeles Film School, his main concentrations of study were directing and cinematography. Upon his graduation, he received a Bachelors Degree of Science in Filmmaking. He was awarded the honor of Magna Cum Laude and was granted acceptance into The National Honors Society of Film and Entertainment.
