She graduated from Louisiana State University in 2020 with a degree in Film Production and a minor in Italian. Following graduation she dove headfirst into the film industry and fell in love with the whole world. Alexis founded her set design company Aesthetica Designs in 2020. She has access to her local, family-owned antique thrift store and used car dealership. Starting in 2019, Alexis broke into the industry as Art PA for a music video for Digital FX Studios with local production company Pixel Collective. From there she found work on a feature film, "Dear Kate," (2020) and discovered her true passion for art department. With an inextinguishable appetite for visual arts and their limitless power to enhance the narrative, Alexis has an eye for the big picture and the framing of particular spaces. She believes in enhancing each corner to their greatest potential in order to portray the inner workings of each character as they are in play. Following that, Alexis landed a job on a short film as head of the art department, "Flicker" (2020) and embarked on her journey collecting knick-knacks, furniture and anything she could find to build her inventory. From there, Alexis took on the position of Art Director for short film "Just Water" (2021) as well as locations manager. Finally, feature film "Do You Remember" (2021) placed Alexis as head of the art department and Aesthetica Designs came to be. This feature above all else put her skills to the test as she transformed an abandoned hospital into a functioning workplace environment as well as a farmhouse storage facility into a comfortable, livable family home. Alexis has experience with graphic design from making labels for small scale objects such as alcohol, medicine or paperwork to large-scale signage that can be displayed.
