My unique and diverse range of skills have been applied to film sets and set pieces over the past 3 years. I've been fortunate to work with some of the best Sculptors from 755 based in L.A. and the best in Construction, Plaster, and Scenic right here in my IATSE 491 local. There have been innumerable mentors and teachers who have firmly grounded me in the elements of art and design. My working experience has allowed me to navigate numerous exciting positions but they have all been firmly tethered to the central passion of sculpting and creating large amazing works. In film I've had the fortunate opportunity to expand my skills into plaster, mold making, fiberglass, and scenic painting. Prior to film I've had positions in Operations Management in multi departmental manufacturing businesses where I was directly responsible for over 40 employees. In New Orleans, I lead the research, purchase, installation, and implementation of a 7 axis robotic arm milling system for Digital Fabrication in Sculpture and Architecture where we also implemented 3d scanning and modeling into fabrication workflows. My experiences have taught me how to be an efficient role player in film, understanding that it takes an army of passionately dedicated people to pull off amazing projects. My ability to lead comes directly from my willingness to follow and contribute the best way possible. I have an intuitive sense of how to read the moment to quickly exchange ideas and communicate solutions. Between my professional experience in and out of film, I have proven to be able to successfully lead large and small shows with both expert and inexperienced Sculptors. I’m about listening with compassion and leading by example. Through this I try to build a positive and equitable work environment where we all work together to put each other in positions to succeed. I've had the fortune of working for some of the best Production Designers. I genuinely enjoy and appreciate working with the team of Art Directors they assemble to execute their creative vision. I have the utmost respect for those who live, reside, and work in L.A. and NY, the epicenters of our business and culture.
